The number of newly registered enterprises in the first 6 months of 2022 reached a record level with 76,233 enterprises, up 13.6% over the same period in 2021. By the end of the second quarter, there were 116,900 enterprises joining and re-joining. enter the market.
Information from the Business Registration Administration (Ministry of Planning and Investment), the total registered capital of newly established enterprises reached VND 882,122 billion, 1.2 times higher than the average in the period 2017-2021 ( 749,019 billion dong).
In Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the number of newly established enterprises increased significantly. Hanoi has 14,628 newly established enterprises, up 9.8% over the same period in 2021. This number in Ho Chi Minh City is 22,469 enterprises, up 11.5% over the same period last year.
Notably, from the beginning of the year to now, 40,667 enterprises have returned to operation in the year, up 55.6% over the same period in 2021 and 1.9 times higher than the average in the period 2017-2021 (20,949 enterprises). ).
In which, the fields with the largest number of businesses returning to operation are: Wholesale; retail; repairing cars and motorbikes (15,381 enterprises, accounting for 37.8%); construction (5,015 enterprises, accounting for 12.3%); processing and manufacturing (4,493 enterprises, accounting for 11.0%).
The number of enterprises returning to operation increased in 17/17 fields, the highest increase was recorded in some fields such as: Production and distribution, electricity, water, gas (652 enterprises, up 222.8%) ; other service activities (1,124 enterprises, up 202.2%); real estate business (1,409 enterprises, up 69.6%); Wholesale; retail; repairing cars and motorbikes (15,381 enterprises, up 68.2%); education and training (977 businesses, up 67.6%) and accommodation and catering services (2,362 businesses, up 63.5%).
